>>Linda P. Jones is a “Wealth Advocate” and her mission in life is to bring more wealth to the world and to show others the roadmap to financial freedom. She is CEO and founder of the Global Institute of Wealth for Women, where women entrepreneurs learn about money and finance in an easy and fun way.  Linda also founded Visionary Wealth Now, to show high income earners how to turn their income into high net worth.

Linda grew up in a middle class family in an affluent Seattle suburb, the youngest of 5 children, and at a young age she began to question and search for the answer to why some people were rich and others weren’t?  After graduating from the University of Washington with a Business degree and becoming a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Linda worked in the investment industry over 25 years, representing many of the industry’s best money managers and overseeing an 8 state territory with over $200 million in investment sales annually.

While in her late 20′s, she identified an 8 step process, “The 8 Steps to Wealth”, she put into practice and it made her a millionaire at age 38. At 39, she made $1 million in one year. Life was lovely, until seven years later when tragedy struck, and her husband died suddenly from a brain aneurysm. She felt the calling to her life’s purpose was to share “The 8 Steps to Wealth” with the world, so she founded the Global Institute of Wealth for Women and Visionary Wealth Now.

What Linda teaches goes beyond what she learned in the investment industry. She studied how to identify financial bubbles early and learn the signs of a peak. She also follows economic cycles, which are repeatable and predictable patterns that forecast future investment opportunities.  They combine the financial with the spiritual.

The 8 Steps to Wealth is about building your wealth, and also creating your legacy, something many people are interested in, but don’t often plan for. The legacy of the Global Institute of Wealth for Women is to positively impact 10,000 women’s lives in the U.S. and abroad with micro loans to fund businesses and feed their families.

Linda writes a financial column for the Examiner.com in Los Angeles and StarLee magazine for women entrepreneurs, and is the financial expert for Star 101.5 FM radio in Seattle. She donates her time as a member of the Board of Directors of SightLife, an international non-profit organization which facilitates sight restoration through cornea transplants and as an investment committee member of the Sunset Club. She lives in Rancho Mirage, CA (near Palm Springs) and Seattle, WA.
